Adding on to the Neutral Bus?

We have a Westinghouse B20 3040CT 200AMP main panel. Obviously it's a 30/40 panel. The Neutral Bus has only 20 spaces and I'm down to 2 spaces and need to add another 4 circuits or so.

There's room for the breakers, but not for the Neutrals. (The ground bar is in the same shape, but my panel allows me to double up on the grounds.)

So - what is the approved method for adding more wires to the Neutral bus?

The friendly electrician at the local home improvement store suggested a sandwiching / stacking a short ground bar onto the neutral bus ... ?

Any and all help would be appreciated.

Thank you,

If this is service equipment, I usually purchase an approved ground bar and install it, then put a #4 copper jumper between the 2 neutral bars.

If it's not service equipment, I'll purchase an approved "insulated" neutral bar and install a #4 copper jumper between the 2.

Let it begin!!!
