Adding A Ceiling Fan To Living Room

I'm considering adding a ceiling fan to my living room. Preferably one without a light on it. The current overhead lighting in my living room consist of 5 recessed lights. Looking up at the ceiling they are in the following pattern:

0 0

0

0 0

I was considering adding the fan between in the center of the 5 lights. I was just wondering where I would need to start as far as electrical pick-up, etc.

I would check to see if the light circuit (hot, neutral, and ground) is presently in the switch box for the lights. If it is, you can expand the box, put in a control for the fan, and run a circuit to the new fan box. Or call in an electrician to do the job.
