Add new electric panel

I have a moble home with 100 amp service from the meter to the house. There is a 100 amp control box in my laundry room for the house is it posible to tap off this service to add a new box with it's own 100 amp service for a barn and area lights by using larger copper wire from box to box.

If you have space for a two pole breaker in your panel you can run another panel from it.

The more important question is, will the original panel handle the additional load.

Yes, Install a 2 - pole breaker in the panel inside the house and run it from there to the barn. Check your meter outside and see if it is a meter/main. If you have a meter and panel combination it may be easier to run it from there. You need to install a 60 amp main breaker panel in the barn. (some exceptions exist) You need at minimum # 6 wire. 4 to be exact. Direct burial or conduit. Tell us how far the barn panel will be from the house panel.
There are several more requirements you should be aware of. Tell us the distance and we can take it from there.
