Activating Two Sets of Lights with One Switch

I have recently installed landscape lights along the base of my home, controlled by a switch near the front door. I am now looking to put a few lights in the eaves on the second level, as these lights do not reach because we have a front porch.

I am not going to be able to wire these new lights into the same switch as the original lights, so I am looking for a way that these lights could be activated by the flip of the original switch, although not wired to the same circuit.

Possibly an X10 solution? I'm a newbie. Help!

Thanks!

X-10 has a lot of capabilities. If you change the switch to the original lights to an X-10 version and install an X-10 switch for the second set, you will be able to control them with a remote or with the Activehome control.

I already have an X10 switch on order for the existing lights so that I can control them from my car when driving up. I understand that I will be able to do the same for the ones above. I would like, however, for when I press the switch downstairs that it would also activate the one upstairs. This possible?
