ac wiring problems


my dog ate the wiring from the thermostat control to the ac unit outside can anybody give me a hand reparing it? thankyou M

ac wiring problems


Buy some TStat cable with the same number of conductors, make a note of where each color is terminated on each end. Replace wire.

ac wiring problems


K_buz Thankyou the wiring is only broken at the end where it comes out of the house to the ac unit, i have 4 wires at the house opening blue, white, red, green. comming from the ac unit they are 1 blue and 1 yellow.

ac wiring problems


You will need to open up the control panel on the condensor and see which wires are used. You still need to replace the entire wire.

ac wiring problems


on the ac unit there are 2 wires one blue and one yellow, fromthe house out to the ac unit there are 4 wires. blue, red, white, green.
