AC Plugs

Your new AC requires 240 volts. the old receptacle is 120 volts.

If this is a dedicated circuit you should be able to rewire.

The new plug is a 15A 240V plug, and the old is either a 20A 120V plug or 20A 240V plug. Are those diagrams showing what the plug looks like pointing at you, or what the receptacle would look like?
