AAA Battery Holder

Hi,

I use a a the following battery charger to charge my Ni-CD/MH batteries and I am wondering if this battery holder is meant for the purpose.

Can I connect it to the charger I own to charge my AAA batteries?
What would be the use of and On / Off Switch
(like for instance in the Philmore # BH4411) for battery chraging?

Thank you
Alex

Sure, that will work. Just make sure you set an appropriate charging current for your batteries - probably near the lowest current the charger allows. I don't understand your question about the on/off switch.

Thanks for you reply.

Well, my question regarding the ON/OFF switch is just to understand what's the purpose of such a switch, it can be obvious but if you disconnect the holder from the battery charger, probably a switch is useless in my case. Perhaps you can use such an holder as a power supply and choose to turn it ON/OFF be means of the switch?

Thanks
Alex

Ayuh,... That's my guess,...
If the pack was used to power something, rather than to charge the batteries...

Those are just general hobbyist battery holders, not specifically for battery charging. Any one of those will work.
