60 amp breaker

my electrician asked me to run to the store to get a couple of 60 amp breakers and he would be by later to put them in so I checked on line to get a ideal on price and found them from 54.95 to 7.49 I do understand that price normally means better quality but for such a range in price their must be other differences can someone tell me what some may be

A 60A double pole breaker for a residential panel should cost $10-15, depending the brand and type of panel. GE, Siemens, Square D HOM, will be less expensive; Square D QO, Cutler Hammer CR more expensive.

The quality was decided when you bought the panel. Now you need to get one for that panel.

If it is for an HVAC system make sure you get one HACR rated.

Well I learned something today...in all the time perusing the isle for electrical parts, I don't think I've ever noticed the HACR rated breakers. Good to know.
