4-Way Switch For Light & Fan

Hello,

Ive been searching countless threads online and have asked for help in other chatrooms and sites. I have not received or found a direct answer to how to wire these up.

I have lots of experience wiring switches, outlets, fans, lights, heaters, dryers, other household electrical items, but when it comes to wiring 4 way switches I have very little experience.

Heres the scenario.

I have a ceiling fan with light in all bedrooms. I just wired up 2 bedrooms to have a separate switch for the light and the fan on the wall with 14/3 wire. That was easy.

In the last bedroom, I want to do the same thing only have the switches in 3 locations. So 6 total switches. I believe 4 must be 3-way & 2 in the middle must be 4-way switches. I have wired from the fan 14/3 to control the light from the 3 locations, but how to I get the fan switched in the same locations? Do I need another 14-3 wire or just a 14/2 wire? Or can I use the original 14/3 that both are on it just using extra jumper wires to connect the fan switches? Not sure jumper is the correct term, I think I'm close, just want to be right. If I had a wiring diagram that would greatly help me understand what goes where.

Anyway, I thank everyone who can give any advice. Thank you.

Thanks. Thats was fast! I see the diagram, but thats just for a light. How about a fan/light combo? I currently have 14/3 running from the ceiling fan/light.

In that diagram there is 14/2 & 14/3 used. right now I just have 14/3 wired in for the 3 light switches and the fan is controlled by a pull chain.

I may be making this more complicated than it really is.

I am getting a bit confused, explain what you have and what you want to do for each room.

Where is the power feed? Fan/light? or switch box? I will make a diagram for you shortly after you answer.
