Are 3 wire splices acceptable?


Looks like that would be a natural in wiring a series of light switches for various lights. Without giving all the details, if using a properly sized cap and within a switch box are 3-way splices acceptable per code? Thanks alot.

i assume you mean 3 wires in a marrete, yes your allowed to do that as long as the manufactuer says it is alright.

Yup. Thanks. Located a pack of "Wiregard" twist on connectors. In very fine print is a chart specifying color, wire gage, and number of wires that may be connected. Thanks again!
