3 way switch help

Hi,

I'm trying to hook a 3 way switch back up that I didn't label (my bad). I would very much appreciate any help. I haven't been able to find a diagram on the internet that matches my scenario.

I have two 14-2 cables that go into a switch box. There is also a 14-3 cable that connects this switch box with another switch box.

Then I have two lights that I would like to wire into these 3 way switches

See picture diagram. Please help which wires do I plug into where?

3 way switch help

It is a good guess the one switch box has a power line, a line tot he fixtures, and a three wire cable to the other switch.

It is most likely wire like this diagram.

3 way switch help

nateo:
On your diagrams...what does it mean when you put "one light is barried" and "this switch is barried"

I have no idea what barried means in relation to the diagrams.

3 way switch help

both of these diagrams have the power coming into the switch location. See if they help you out. But as you see diagram one shows the traveler cables running thu the light fixture location whereas diagram 2 the traveler cable does not run thru the light fixture location
