3 way Switch

I have a 3way setup as per my diagram, that is working correctly.

My question is, can I hook up another switch (with light) as per my diagram? I have it setup this way right now and the second switch/light combo only works when i have the first 3way in one possition, which i now understand why. Is ther another way i could hook this up, or do i have to run power over to the second switch?

any help would B great.

You need to run power to the new switch.

3 way Switch

You can't make it work independent of the 3ways unless you go back to the first switch for unswitched power.

3 way Switch

Are you wanting to control the second light seperetly, if so you have no choice but to go back to the first switch and get power.

Or are you trying to control both lights from all three locations, if so you will need to use a 4way, if this is what you are doing let us know and we will give you instruction on how to do that.
