3 way smart dimmer issue

Goose134: Regarding your advice to 3-way dimmer wiring: Can I connect a sliding 3-way dimmer from powered junction box to a standard 2-way remote switch? Dimmer functions normally but will not function if remote switch is activated. I do not need dimmer function at remote location. Do I need to install a 3-way switch at remote location? Thanx!

3 way smart dimmer issue

2-3way dimmers tied in together for the same light fixtures will not work. Replace one of the dimmers with a regular 3 way and you should be ok. Also, the diagram on post #9 is showing wiring of a 3 way to a single pole switch. This wiring is incorrect to operate lighting from 2 locations.
