3 way light fixtures

Have 4 lights on porch controlled by two 3 way switches. Turned them on last night, and can't get them to turn off. Replaced both switches, but no success! Lights still wont turn off

Did they ever work correctly?
Or did you just install them and/or the switches?

These lights have been in use for 15 years without a problem, until now!

Probably two wires touching where they shouldn't. Insulation could be worn or brittle allowing the wires to touch.
