What is your procedure for troubleshooting 3-way switch setups (with a Wiggie, or not)?

3-way illuminated switch - voltage present

I am running in to the same problem.
My garage is wired for 3 switches which worked properly with a CFL bulb to this point. I have recently changed the switches to illuminated and the CFL has started to strobe when it is in the off position. I am assuming this is caused by the illuminated switches running in series with the CFL.
Is this correct? Is there any way of using the illuminated switches with a CFL and not getting the flickering or how would you solve it?

There not really any fix for this. If there are more than one bulb then using one non CFL might stop the flickering.
