I have a new Milbank West type3R 3-Phase 100Amp Service Meter Panel that I want to install for a water pump well system. The existing 3-Phase Meter burned out one leg which was using TR- 70R 70Amp Fuses to feed the control Panel inside the pump house. I now have acquired a newer model 3-Phase 100Amp Meter Panel that has a Pull out, instead of Fuses, rated at 100Amps. But my problem is The control Breaker Inside the Pump house has a 70 Amp Molded Case Circuit Breaker. Do they make the pull levers in 70Amps and would that work with the 100amp panel? Right now the riser overhead wires are #2/0 Stranded copper, and the wire going into the pump house is #6 Awg. I live out in the middle of nowhere in Az. and is hard to get a electrical engineer out here.

I am kinda understanding what you are saying but then not fully. I would call the nearest electrical supply and give them your model number brand etc.. They will tell you if it is possible. Or as I did I went right to Millbank site I cant seem to paste the link for some reason. Google them under Millbank West electrical panels. Looking at the model you have though it list 100 amps as the lowest. That would be where I start though. If your pump is 70 amps only I would say you need to send 70 to it no more unless the pump is able to take it. Even search out for your pump manufacturer and see if they have specs on your pump. Hope this helps you out somewhat.

Are you SURE that the pullout is not a fusable pullout? I have not seen one.

Does it have two screws on it?

You need 60 amp protection on your #6 wires feeding the pumphouse panel. You may need to add a disconnect with 60 amp fuses past the meter.

If you are between Phoenix and Prescott, I'll stop by and look at it this weekend.
