240V/30A outlet install with 1/2" 2 pole breaker

Hey Guys & Gals, Spent a few hours reading up on the forums and I still can't decide if I can run a new 240V dryer outlet from the 1st floor breaker or the main breaker in the basement. I have one unused slot in my 1st floor breaker The load center is a Murry LC1224L1125. The sticker on the panel states that its a 125A load center. The dryer is rated at 30A. What I wanted to know is if I can run a new 240V 2 pole breaker from this unused slot. I attached a few pics. I know that there are 2 pole breakers that can fit here, but will it work? Thanks for the help.

No.
Those are not 2 pole breakers.
Those are tandom breakers, or 2 breakers in the same frame.
Since tandom breakers fit, you would have to remove the 3 breakers( above the gfci breakers) replace one with a tandom, and put a 2 pole into the other slots.

You really should check to see if that panel can have that many split mini breakers before you add two more....

You say the first floor panel (which is a sub-panel) is 125 amps, that is the rating of the panel, not necessarily the way it is cabled/breakered. Check the breaker that feeds this sub in the main panel to determine the capacity of the sub.

The OP gave the panel model # as a LC1224L1125
