samnoa Newbie   Join Date: Feb 2009 Posts: 1	230V motor I have machine with a motor that says 230V, 13 A, single phase. can I connect this to my electric dryer outlet?

As long as its rated for the amp draw the motor has I cant see why it would be a problem, though it isnt common practice
