2 gang box to 4 gang box

Hi all , great site 1st post. I'll try to be as concise as possible. I want to add 2 sets of recessed cans on dimmers to existing 2 gang box. I want all 4 switches in same box because of location & convenience. Obviously i have to replace 2g box with a 4g box , rewire 2 exisiting switches and wire up 2 new switches , pull wire and install cans. My question is , for ease of wiring , can i use a hot lead pigtail to wire up the 2 switches on far end of 4g box?

Yes.
What I do is put on a separate tail for each switch. I prefer not to loop from switch to switch.
