2 Ceiling fans and 1 double pole switch


There are only 2 switches in the picture. The one hanging is the dimmer/speed control. The other is the light switch.

The two black wires were connected to the top of the dimmer/speed control and the white wires were connected to nothing. He used some brown wiring to connect to the black and white wires. I removed the speed control switch and brown wiring.

2 Ceiling fans and 1 double pole switch


If you KNOW how it was originally wired, then just replace the speed control with the switch. Don't worry about what to do with the white wires, IF THEY WERE JUST CAPPED OFF. If they were connected (somehow) to each other, then they need to go back together.

Thanks. I will connect the black wires to the screws on one side of the switch and leave the white wires capped.
