I have a 20 amp circuit running into my addition that I planned on running one baseboard heater from so I don't have a junction box. Now I'm putting one in the bedroom and one in the ensuite. I'm OK with using the thermostat on the heater instead of the wall so I'm wondering how to run the circuit from one baseboard heater to the next using one circuit and separate thermostats. They are back to back separated by a wall and I haven't closed in one side of the wall yet.

First, are these 240 volt units? At 240 volts and 20 amps you can have 3840 watts.
Bring your cable into the first unit along with the cable going to the next unit. Connect the 2 black wires and one wire from the L1 on the thermostat together. Connect the remarked white wires (black tape) and the wire from L2 on the thermostat together. Connect the T1 and T2 wires on the thermostat to the two wires in the heater.
At the second heater, connect the black and white wire as noted above and the L1 and L2 as noted above.
