2 - 900w tansformers on a 15A circuit?


I have not putchased yet, but it does have 3 connections. My runs will be fairly short (about 100' each) and I will be very close to max watts

2 - 900w tansformers on a 15A circuit?


Ahh ok but keep in your mind you will have to use #12 LV cable size., Don't use the #14 or smaller size they will cause alot of issue with voltage drop.

And dont do straight runs, do "T" style runs, or what I like to do is full circle runs, so the beginning and the end of the run tie into the transformer... Helps greatly with voltage drop. Just dont mess up the polarity.

Thanks.. All good ideas............ I had already bought the #12 and I have some #10 if I have tio make any longer runs, the circle idea sounds good

One other thing, stay away from those plastic splice kits, I find they have a terrible failure rate, wire nut every splice with DB wirenuts for a trouble free installation.
