15 vs 20 amps

i was wondering if things like recessed lights or fart fans, which usually go on a 15 A circuit can go on a 20 A circuit ?

the thing is, the code requires that there is a 20A circuit going into the bathroom so i am trying to not have any other circuits other than that one.

thanks,

Sure they can. You must use #12 wire for it all.

but of course.

Sure. Just remember that the 20amp circuit serving the bathroom cannot serve anything outside of that bathroom if that circuit includes the GFCI receptacle(s) serving the sink(s). If you've got your GFCI receptacles on a dedicated circuit, the 20amp additional circuit can serve the light, fart fan, and other rooms' lights/receptacles as well.
