14/2 or 12/2 Wire?
Hi, which one would you use for a run to a 15 amp breaker?

14/2 or 12/2 Wire?
#14 is good 15A and #12 is good for 20A, so i would run #14.

My house i run 12-2 for everything, customer house 14-2!

First half! Second, If they were willing to pay the extra for 12-2 i would do it. Most people where i run my business don't wanna spend it if they don't have to. Always give them the offer tho!

-1 points for being a Pitt fan but thanks for the explanation. 12/2 is a you know what to run that's my only concern because I have to wire through a corner joist.

Plus if you ever decide to put something bigger on that circuit, you just have to change the breaker not the wire! We got 6, Do you? LOL
