How high of the floor should I locate the electrical receptacle for the new electric range on my remodel kitchen?

Look at the rough in instructions on the range. It will give you the placement. Usually they are pretty low.

Generally placed at the floor level, unless it is a "Wet" type location as you would see in a restaurant, basement or garage, those are placed 3-4'.

agreed.

Most of them I have seen are at floor level. If you are getting a foreign brand, I have seen them in a variety of locations.

Thank You all for replying to my question. I have checked with the appliance people and like you mentioned, it all depends on the make and model of the electric range.
