110V fence lighting

Help,
I need help with fence lighting, the problem is I think, I have 2.5 inch end post and 2 inch post I'm trying to find high voltage fence lighting to go on the post. I'v looking everywhere and all I can find is 4 inch post. Could I do low voltage lighting and still be able to see in my backyard? What other options are they?

How much illumination, in foot-candles, do you want in your backyard?

How high are the posts?

By high voltage, you mean 120 volts right? Yes, you can use 120 volts for outside/landscape lighting. But for your safety, I would suggest you use a pre-fabricated low voltage landscape lighting kit. This way you only need to plug in the transformer, then string out your lights. Check a lighting store. They can help you decide what will work best for you. Good luck.
