100 Watt Max

Hi all,

Just installed a Hampton Bay, three light Bath Bar fixture.
The box says:
"Uses 3 Standard Blubs, 100 Watt Max. (Sold Separately)".
On the fixture the "sticker" says 100 Watt Max (on one can).

What I'm confused about is the total wattage.
Would this fixture take 3 blubs equaling 100 Watts, or 3 blubs at 100 Watts each?
3 x 100W = 300W?

Thanks.

100 watts each socket.
I've never seen a fixture that gave a "total" maximum wattage.
