Zone Dampers - Install on Both Supply and return?

Planning out zones for my central air system, I'd like to have 3 " zones "

Zone 1 - Main level in my ranch home, including all bedrooms

Zone 2- Finished Basement

Zone 3 - Three Season type of porch/sunroom

Planning on using automatic zone dampers such as:

Will it be necessary for all zones to have zone dampers on both supply AND returns? I figure i'd need to cut off the return and supply on the porch so im not sucking in all that hot air into my system.

but should i need one one the basement return as well? would i benifit by having the return always open on the basement to suck out humidity / moisture?

No need for dampers on any of the returns. The returns in the porch area won't draw air in when its not calling, unless your short on return for the other areas.

Even if all 3 'zones' are off a single air handler?

Yep. The returns shouldn't draw air in, unless that area is the one being supplied with air. If they do draw air in when that area isn't calling for heat or cooling, then its a sign that your return system is under sized. Which means you don't want to close that return anyways then. Since its giving the return volume your system needs.
