York or Trane?

I've got two quotes, one for a 3-ton Trane xl16i. and another for a York 3-ton 8T HP.

They're basically the same on specs (below), the York is quieter and about $1000 cheaper.

Right now I'm leaning towards the cheaper quieter York.

Any recommendations?

The specs:

Both are 18 SEER.

The Trane is HSPF 9.2
The York is HSPF 9.4

As far as I can tell the Trane is 74db the York is 65db.

Both have two stage compressors.

The York has better humidity control then the Trane.

But, since its so cheap. I'd shy away from that dealer. Since that would be the top of the line for York. And the Trane 16i is a second teir unit.

Makes you wonder what corners the York dealer is cutting.
