York Heat Pump and A-Coil
 

I am looking at a York YJHF 3 ton heat pump and have been told that I need to upsize the coil to maximize efficiency. Would the York G2FD046H17A 4 ton a coil work with the heat pump I am getting? I need a horizontal application coil.

The g2FD coils are obsolete. And there is no listing for the YHJF36S41S1 matching to the G2FD046H17A coil. So you may get more or less efficiency with that match up.

The FC/MC43B gives a good match up. 24,200 BTUs of heat at 17 degree outdoor temp at a COP of 2.55
