I have a York Electric Furnance and the Blower will not shut off. The Model No. is 2HW06502006A the heating coils will heat and it blows warm air until it reaches the desired temp but the blower continues to run until the thermostat is manually shut off. Wondering how to determine what the exact problem is. And a cheap replacement site to order part from. I hope someone can help me out on this one.
Sounds to me like it could be the thermostat itself. If you can still directly control the on/off of the heater the thermostat may be stuck on. Or it could be the heat sensor as suggested.
I have the same unit and a somewhat similar problem. Mine short cycles (10 secs on, 1 min off) whether I have the thermostat hooked up or not. I'm at a loss here.
