York furnace problem

I will try and make this as concise as possible.
We have had a York furnace now for 2 1/2 years and have had difficulty almost from the beginning. The contractor has replaced, fan motor, gas valves, pressure switch (3x) main circuit board, replied the exhaust & intake and still have problems. Furnace not firing, trouble codes etc.
the current furnace is a modulating furnace with a variable speed blower. The model number is PM9C. After speaking with the guys at Johnson Controls I find out they have had problems with this furnace.
OK, here is the question. They are replacing the furnace, and they are replacing it with a 2 stage furnace with a variable speed blower. The model number is TM9V.
I have read mixed reviews on this model.
Any suggestions? Should I accept this furnace? Is it as good as the one I purchased? But doesn't work
I want a winter where I will not be cold this year!

York furnace problem

I have an 80k btuh TM9v 2 stage ECM variable speed furnace just starting its 3rd winter and it has been mostly good. The only issue I have had is a minor leak from a seam on the condensate collector box that I fixed with a little epoxy. No issues whatsoever with pressure switches, circuit card, blower, inducers, etc. I got this to upgrade from an old single stage unit and really like the quieter first stage where it runs most of the time... and like the 2nd stage for quick heat ups from programmed setbacks at night and during the day when at work. So I am happy with it and would recommend it. As the pros here say a lot depends on the install and the company that services it.

York furnace problem

The TM9V is 2 steps down from the Mod furnace you have.

What size is your current furnace. What size is your house?

There's a 2 stage Affinity that would be between the TM9V and the mod.

York furnace problem

The shop I worked for before I opened my shop back in 96 was a york dealer,I still have nightmares about those noisy ass compressors!
The supply house asked me if I wanted to be a york dealer a couple months later,I told them I was already set up for rhuud/rheem and goodman equipment.
ACU in omaha didnt want to talk to me much after that discussion.
