York 650.77-N2U flame was lost 5 times

Hi:

Just noticed that my furnace tries to start and fails. Ignitor starts, gas value opens and flame ignites, it stays on for 4-5 seconds then the gas shuts off. The furnace tries 5 times. Furnace is a mid efficentcy gas two stage.

The error code is "8 FLASH" flame is lost 5 times during a heat cycle. Could be caused by low gas pressure or faulty gas value.

I'm pretty sure that the gas pressure is fine, I would like to clean the gas value if possible or applicable.

Less then a year ago I had to get a professional to replace the pressure switch because it wasn't closing correctly and then cost a few bucks and I don't really want to do this again.

Thanks!

Clean the flame sensor. Sits in front of one of the burners and should look like one of these, use fine emory paper or clean steel wool:
