XC95M thermostat setup, two or three stage?
Anyone out there a trane insaller able to answer this?
the XC95M I had installed in one of the houses is "fully modulating" not the old three stage modulating one... it's the latest model... it requires the TCONT900 thermostat to be communicating... I had both installed
the installer setup manual has this setup option though
Heater Stages - 0180
E - Auto Discover
0 - None (why even have none as an option?)
1- Single Stage
2 - Two Stage
3 - Three Stage
auto discover has the value 0, which is odd.. now this does modulate at odd percentages on the status screen... I've seen it at 40%, 60% 100%, 55%, 63% 70% etc.. so its not just doing two stage, its doing full modulating...
what would setting it to three stage do? I know the older XC95's where three stage modulating... should this be on two or three stage?
The thermostat manual says it has to be set at a minimum of 1 stage Heat, yet autodiscover has zero
