Wiring question for replacing compressor fan motor for a two ton Presidentiol Condensing Unit

The original 1/6 hp 230 VAC, 1 phase vertical shaft fan motor has only two wires attached to the Cutler-Hammer C258NB230T Series E Coil 24V 60 Hz Contactor, which also has the capacitor connected to it. The new motor the guy at Granger sold me has four wires. I'm assuming that the coil stays discharged while the motor runs, then recharges when it is off allowing it time to charge. I assume I must combine the four wires to be two. My questions are: Is my thinking correct? Does it matter which coil wire do I connect to which primary motor wire? I'm guessing it does, but I don't know how to choose whice wire to attach to gether.

What motor did grainger sell you?
What color are your 4 wires?
Green would wire to the unit body or ground.
