I cant seem to find a wiring diagram for a carrier package unit model 48gs030060301.

Any clues?

There should be one on the inside of the panel of the outside units electrical panel.

Oh man that is close, but not quite. I cant not believe this thing does not have a low freon sensor, but I cant find it. It would have to go between the t-stat yellow wire and the contactor right? ... but even the diagram above the yellow wire comes from the t-stat staight to the contactor, and the other side is 24V common. So no matter what, when the t-stat is calling, the contactor will be energized. Maybe that is why I had to replace the compressor. :-(

high/low pressure switch are sensor connected on the line set at the condenser

Not all Carrier units came with a LPCO.

So yes, if you had a leak and ran the system with out any R-22..... You could burn up a compressor....
