Question

Wiring AprilAire 600 to Bryant FB4ANF042

The Bryant FB4ANF042 does not appear to have screw terminals associated with the circuit board. It does have unused black and red wires that appear to be reserved for accessories. When I put the meter on these wires, they supply 56 VAC only when the blower is running. Is there any way to wire the AprilAire 600 to this unit? Thanks.

Mark

Wiring AprilAire 600 to Bryant FB4ANF042

OK, I think I figured it out. Those wires I was messing with are high-voltage. There are switched 24V terminals on the board marked "ACC", but you are not supposed to connect directly to them without the "kit," which would probably require a dealer to get involved. Since I have a 120v outlet in the area from the previous humidifier, I'm going to get the A50 relay. That way I don't have to tap the air handler's wiring at all. Thanks.
