which wires do in touch to bypass the stat to test a furnace?


I know if person jumps 2 furnace wires at the stat that the furnace will heat. Can someone tell me which 2 wires I need to jump in order to run this test?

Generally the ones on the R and W terminals.

Of course, if its not a problem with the stat. Then the furnace still won't work.

its very very very seldom the thermostat when its a no heat situation.
