williams direct-vent propane conversion

I'm installing a recent model Williams direct-vent furnace ( #3003612)tagged for natural gas,but I'm using propane. Is there any adjustment I can make to the valve to convert? It appears that a twin-pin removal tool can be used to access the valve body. Has anyone operated the unit without converting until trouble developed? When I tested, it appeared to get hotter than customary, but not damaging. Driver said they soot up Thanks

Last I knew you could not buy tanks that were used for either Propane or NG, like the old days. You now have to buy for your particular fuel. Why didn't you buy the model for Propane?

You will have to replace the burner orfices and at least a gas valve spring. Possibly the whole gas valve. If you run it without converting it you will ruin it.
