Why no blower when flame is on? HELP..


When the heat kicks on the flames are all normal but the fan doesn't come on. After the flame reaches the point of turning off it is then that the blower fan then kicks on. Can anyone help me out with this?

We need the brand & model (age) or a photo of the furnace (with the doors off) to go beyond guessing.

American Standard about 30 yrs old. Dont have Model Number with me right now.
