White-Rodgers Zone-A-Flow Seal Kit HELP

I need to replace the seals on a White-Rodgers Zone-A-Flow valve.
Type 1361-104. If I shut off the water (and power) to the valve and remove the valve (after the hot water cools) I will drain the pipes in my Hydronic baseboards. This I believe is going to cause a problem. What is the proper way to do this? The boiler is a Hydrotherm 100.

thank you.

Did you every get a response to this? I need to seal a leak in my system from the same model valve. Any suggestions or directions on accomplishing this? Thanks. Here was your original post in case you forgot:

I never got around to replacing the leaking valve. It only leaks a drop or two every so often so Im going to leave it for now. It's an easy fix if you know which valves to close and how to refill the system. I may try it when the weather warms up. I found a replacement valve for $90.00 but a seal kit is available for a few bucks. It's just an o-ring. Hope this helps.

Thanks. I have a seal kit on the way and am going to attempt to drain, fix, and refill. If I remember, I will let you know how it goes.
