Where dose this gas line go?

Hi everyone, We just bought a house that has Gas and I want to add a cooktop. I was going to move the line from the range over but after looking at where the gas line goes it seems it runs into the wall cavety where the return air duct is and the range (electric) had no gas hook up near it. could this line run to the second floor or the attic? The furnace and hot water heater are in the basement so I'm puzzled. The house has a jacuzzi tub in the master could it go there. Any ideas would be great as I can't move the line if I can't find out where it goes. Thanks.

Your question is not clear.

What exactly do you want to know.

Where dose this gas line go?

Is there anything that could be in the attic or the second floor that would have a gas line running to it? I have one that I can't find where it terminates. Laundry is in the basement as well and I have a fireplace but I can follow that line no problem.

Gas appliances of some type. If it's an old house it may have supplied a space heater or a wall furnace.

Can you see where it comes off the main gas line in the basement?

its a 6 year old house and the line is the yellow flex line which comes off of a manifold where the furnace, water heater and fire place come off of.

would they run a line to the kitchen and close it up in the wall since the range was electric?

can't answer that for sure. But if it's just a short piece than I would say more than likely.

Could it go outside for a gas grill? No way to know for sure without seeing and possibly taking down some drywall.
