when i turn to on, the pilot goes out


hi ,i have no problems with the pilot staying on but as soon as i turn to the on position it shuts off .does someone know y

Pilot on.....you see flame on the burner.....after that, shuts off?

when i turn to on, the pilot goes out


make sure the pilot flames is surrounding the sensing rod and the capillay is tight into the gas valve.... if all is so you need a new thrmolcoupling in HD or LOWES measure the exsisting one 24"...36
