What type of duct?

I'm trying to determine if my HVAC vendor installed the correct type of duct for my Vent-a-Hood cooking vent. The picture in this thread is what he installed. Vent-a-hood requires Smooth Duct, not Flexible or Corrugated.

What kind of duct is this?

Thanks.

Looks like a smooth, 90 elbow that's been straightened out to me.

Definitely smooth

That's an adjustable elbow. It is smooth and rigid so you're fine there. No idea why they would use that instead of a solid pipe. It's definitely more expensive and slightly harder to work with. You can tape that joint at top if you'd like to avoid getting funk in your cabinet. Technically, each one of those seams leaks, but shouldn't matter at that pressure.
