What kind of vent is this and where can I find a replacement? Thanks!

What kind of vent is this?


Whats it connected to/ what appliance. Pellet stove, gas furnace, water heater, ?

could just be old chimney top ..to keep birds and rain out????ben sr

What kind of vent is this?


Its connected to the water heater. Can I remove the the chimney portion and just have a straight pipe coming up?

is it metal pipe all the way down..or is it old ductile pipe...how big is it????

If its B vent you can. If its single all pipe, no.
