What hp should the blower motor be for a 10 year old 4 ton Goodman?

And does that affect the air flow coming out the vents inside?

What are you getting out of there now?

blarose,

How in the world are you keeping any of this straight? How do you expect anyone to follow what you are doing and asking?

It is a 1/4 hp and was hoping that if I upgraded, it would improve the airflow.

Bud, get one of the mod's to combine all of them into one thread. You are correct that it is hard to follow when questions are split apart into multiple threads.

That is not the airflow.

Sorry
It seems that threads die after few days and only couple users look at them.

When I start a new thread it gets all new users and ideas.

Merging all of the threads now, would make them a jumbled mess. And hard for anyone to follow. Since the threads would have some over lap of replies to another thread make the day before.

At more the 112 replies if they were merged, it would be hard for anyone new to follow.

If your current blower motor is the original, or an OEM replacement, then a higher HP blower won't get you anymore air. Your blower wheel spinning at 1075 RPM moves the same amount of air weather its being spun by a 1/4HP motor or a 1/2HP blower motor.

Post the full model number of your furnace/air handler. In this thread, cause I ain't gonna look in any of the other threads for it.

Ba-LONEY!

Anyone here with any knowledge of your subject is going to be in that trade and loyal to this website. Those guys "subscribe" to threads they have interest in or the ones they have replies in and they get regular up to the minute email notifications. Threads here don't die as long as you are keeping them alive. If all of your questions were in one place it would be easier for someone to review what the hell is going on.

What you have done is totally counter-productive and quite frankly if I had any knowledge in your area of inquiry I wouldn't be chasing all of those threads anyway. Regulars here deal with lots of threads and it is necessary every day to review conversations to keep things straight. Review is IMPOSSIBLE in your case.:)

Why not pick just one of your happy offerings to date AND STAY THERE?

I think this thread died. :whistling2:
