What brand of furnace is the way to go?

Need to replace furnace. Trying to find a reliable mid-range brand. Which is better? Goodman, York, or American Standard?

I gave up on york in the early 90s when I worked for a york dealer, you could hear their compressors rattling before you ever got out of the van!
Go goodman!

Thanks for the reply's!!! It is a hard decision but I have found my installer after 4 estimates so I just need to decide on the unit. Everyone has their own opinion on what brand so it is hard to decide. My installer uses Goodman and American Standard but will get whatever I want. He prefers American Standard but it is more expensive. Thanks for your help!

Thats probably the reason he prefers it!
I had lots of issues with the 80s-early 90s 80% trane/american standard heat exchangers, but every brand had its issues in the past including goodman I guess

I am considering the following units

1. Goodman gvcm96 2 stage

2. York tg9s single stage

Like the idea of the 2 stage over the single too.

Thoughts???

I work with Trane and Lennox. Between them I like Trane better.
