Weill McClain EGH 95 causes Honeywell L4006E1109 manual reset

Honeywell L4006E1109 is set to 200. Once I reset it (push red button) the system starts to working for awhile then it stops working leaving pump and blower (not fan) running until reset. This is a three zone system on a Weill McClain EGH95 boiler.

I assume your talking about a limiting aquastat on the boiler. If the boiler temp exceeds the your 200F temp setting it locks out and after it cools, the reset button will allow the restart of the ignition sequence again.
An air lock or a failing pump assy are the common causes of overheating. Try bleeding the air radiators if you have them. See if the auto bleed valves on the boiler are working. Tell us what the tridicator quage reads in PSI and temp when the boiler is running.

psi is 20 and the temperature is 185 and climbing. Reduced the other zone temp so that only one works but still the effect is the same -- reset required. I am besides myself this just started happening these past few days.

Try each zone by itself. If no one has played with any of the gate valves and the boiler overheats when any of three thermostats call for heat then your pump motor or impeller is not doing it's job.
Either you change the pump assy or hire a pro to do it for you.

Operating limit may be bad, and allowing boiler temp to exceed set point. Or limit m ay be weak, and tripping early.

Checked the zones. When one zone goes on the boiler it shuts down. The temperature is 170 psi 20, motored pump stays on for that zone, the air fan is running but not at full speed, the limiting aquastat is set to 200, but no water is spill from the relief valve. I checked the relief valves and they work (water comes out when touched). The boiler is unusually hot.

I thank you for your help in troubleshooting so that i can start isolating the problem.

The operating limit MUST be set 20 lower then the high limit.

Beenthere's suggestion that the operating limit maybe bad is good.
Try adjusting the operating aquastat down 20 degrees. You want the boiler to cycle at least 20 degrees below the limit temp of 200F. If your adjustment does allow the boiler to cycle at the lower temp, are you getting enough heat for your needs? Tell us what the new operating temp is working at.
There are potential problems with operating it long term at too low a temp.

Weill McClain EGH 95 causes Honeywell L4006E1109 manual reset

I have created an album with the pics of items that i am discussing. it is titled Weil McClain issue. I noticed a Honeywell 138658 which appears to be a vaporstat? control. I check the water also let some water out. I performed the recommendation, I lowered the Honeywell aquastat to 180 and same happens -- shutdown. Again thanks I think I am getting closer.

Thats an aquastat, and in the pic, its set to 200. Set it to 180. And set the Honeywell high limit back to 200(the one with the red button).
