Weather Maker 9200 Furnace

I just got a house which has a Weather Maker 9200 Furnace (gas).
Is it only for heating or does it also have cooling capacity in Summer?
The thermostat indicates that it is capable of both. How do I know or test the AC functions in a cold weather? Any thought will very much be appreciated. Thanks.

The weathermaker 9200 is a furnace, the addition of a condenser (outside) and evaporator coil add cooling capability.

Weather Maker 9200

Thank you very much Houston204. You have cleared up my confusion.
It is just for heating because I see no addition of condenser outside of the house. I really appreciate your reply.:)

I'm in the same position: forum noob having just bought a house with this furnace. My question is about heat during a power outage and/or furnace outage. What options do folks consider the best? K1?

I assume the Weathermaker 9200 doesn't run on gas only, but requires electricity as well to run, right?

When the power goes out you will not have heat. A power inverter is a handy thing to have around just in case something like that comes up.
