My humidifier drain clogged and apparently showered the inside of my furnace with water over two days whenever the unit was on. Eventually the blower stopped working. When it would rotate, it only went for a few seconds with the sound of it pushing through water. I dried everything out over the last 24 hours, but the fan will not start spinning on it's own and only spins at a very low speed when I turn the blades turn it on using the door panel switch. I switched out capacitors but no change.
Any thoughts on what's going on? The unit is a York gas furnace that's about 10 years old.
